La guitarra: Evolución del instrumento a través del tiempo y de su música (+6 años)

The guitar: Evolution of the instrument through time and its music (+6 years) is an educational concert aimed at primary and secondary school students, with the objective of presenting the guitar as an instrument, its music, and its different styles and variations. During the concert, four distinct guitars are used: a romantic guitar copy of a guitar from 1837 by the French luthier René-François Lacôte, a Spanish guitar replica of the design by master Antonio de Torres, a flamenco guitar, and an electric guitar model Jackson Professional Archtop. With each of them, pieces from different styles and eras are performed, from the Classicism of Luigi Legnani to the Rock of Santana and the Blues in the style of Rory Gallagher. All the music performed will be commented on in terms of form, style, and interpretative criteria, complemented with explanations about the construction and evolution of the guitar throughout the centuries.
