Cool

COOL is a tabletop puppetry and object performance that dives into the great challenge of our time: the climate emergency. But it does so by avoiding the moralizing or closed discourse. The work is built from humor, visual poetry, and absurdity, in an autonomous stage universe that reflects, with powerful images, the paradoxes of our daily lives. The character's attempts to lead a normal life generate absurd and funny situations, but also an immediate reflection: normality has become impossible. The dramaturgy moves from the everyday to fantasy using humor as a communication strategy, visual poetry as a universal language, and the metaphor of absurdity as a vehicle to reflect on our relationship with the planet.
