Исцеление – Healing

The show Sanación presents the story of Anna, who, after her father's death, must take over the direction of the charitable foundation «Sanación» that he had created. Along with this new position, she inherits a great responsibility for the fate of her beneficiaries. At that moment, Sonia, an investigative journalist with a murky past, enters her life with the intention of revealing the truth about the foundation's activities. The confrontation between the two women becomes increasingly intense, revealing family secrets, old wounds, and questions without simple answers. Sanación is a work about trust and betrayal, personal responsibility and public opinion, the weight of the past and the value of liberation. The staging is directed by Elmārs Seņkovs, based on the work of Mikhail Durnenkov, and is presented at the theater Vaba Lava, Estonia.
