Antonio Monegal y Amador Fernández-Savater

Antonio Monegal y Amador Fernández-Savater will present a conversation around culture, its role in society, and its capacity to contribute solutions to global problems. Antonio Monegal is a professor of Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and has been awarded the National Essay Prize 2023 for his book Como el aire que respiramos: El sentido de la cultura. Amador Fernández-Savater is an independent researcher, activist, editor, and «pirate philosopher», and has recently published La batalla del pensamiento (Ned ediciones, 2026).
