Artefacto: un cuerpo colectivo

Artifact: a collective body is an artistic proposal that combines installation and mediation, designed to host projects created by artists. The work is inspired by behaviors of beings and organisms facing a danger or to communicate something, such as increasing the volume, inflating a membrane or filling with air. In this workshop, participants will build temporary inflatable structures that will become extensions of the geometric pieces of the Artifact. A common space will be created where becoming a collective body will take place, through play and experimentation with fabric pieces. The proposal is by Anna Irina Russell, a multidisciplinary artist who uses sculpture, installation and action to reflect on communication processes. Her work has been exhibited in institutions such as MACBA, La Casa Encendida or CCCB.
